Marmara Üniversitesi Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Bölümü’nden 1994 yılında mezun oldu. Yüksek lisansını Marmara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Eğitimde Psikolojik Servisler Bölümü’nde 1999 yılında tamamladı. Benlik psikolojisi ve psikanalik psikoterapi, aile terapisi ve psikodrama üzerine çeşitli eğitimler aldı. Televizyon ve sinema prodüksiyonları için senaryo danışmanlığı yapmakta olan Yurtsever’in basılı şiir, hikaye ve makaleleri de mevcuttur.
